BioI am a graduate student studying Irish History and Politics at the University of Ulster - Magee Campus. I love it here, but I head home to the States in two weeks, and I'm looking forward to that, too.
I'm a fan of Tolkien (but not the movies) and Harry Potter, and I write a bit of Tolkien fan-fiction, although I can't say I'm particularly good at it. I also am geeky enough to enjoy some Tolkien RPG's. Geeks of the world unite, I say.
Politically, I'm very far left wing, and am not ashamed to say that I'm a Marxist. And yes, people tell me all the time that Marxism is dead. Whatever. Shut up and go clean your guns, or whatever it is conservatives do for fun. I'm supporting Obama in the 2008 presidential election, although he's certainly not my perfect candidate. I look forward to the day that I don't have to vote for the lesser of two evils.
